My professional journey began in Organizational Psychology, where I explored the study of human behavior, relationships, communication, and organizational dynamics. That initial phase was fundamental, but it also sparked a question within me: how can we truly understand a person if we observe them solely through a role, a function, or a category?
Over time, I realized that I did not want to box people into roles, diagnoses, or categories. I was interested in understanding human beings in their full integrity: their history, relationships, emotions, bodies, and the experiences that have shaped them.
Guided by this inquiry, I decided to expand my professional path toward a deeper and more holistic understanding of human beings. I trained in Systemic Therapy, Relational-Psychosomatic Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, as well as trauma-informed approaches, addictions, and EMDR.
My experience includes guiding therapeutic processes related to complex trauma, addictions, gender-based violence, human mobility, post-traumatic stress, depersonalization-derealization, and emotional well-being.
In 2023, I founded Ānima, a psychotherapy practice where I facilitate individual and group sessions—both in-person and virtual—that integrate mindfulness and contemplative ethics into therapeutic support.
Today, my practice stems from a core conviction: every person is far more than a label, a diagnosis, or a circumstance; they are a unique story that deserves to be heard, understood, and accompanied in a safe, holistic space where they can experience physical, relational, and spiritual safety and fulfillment.
I offer online psychotherapy to individuals worldwide and in-person therapy in Ecuador, where I reside.
